Meghan Crawford, PsyD

As a licensed clinical psychologist, I am passionate about helping each person grow to know and accept themselves as a whole person. I attend to individual differences of each person and family that comes to treatment and create targeted goals with my clients to best suit their needs as they relate to life stage, culture, race, ethnicity, and environment.

To effectively meet the needs of the family and desired results, therapy may be done in their natural environments such as school, in-home, parks, day camps, extra-curricular activities, and with peers in addition to in-clinic treatment. I have worked and continue to work in these various environments to help treatment generalize to all areas of a person’s life when the individual plan indicates this is needed. I commonly collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapist, physical therapists, and educators upon request to improve results and overall outcome.

My specialization is working with children, adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder,  Anxiety Issues, Impulse Control Issues, Socialization/Play Issues, Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorders, other neurodevelopmental delays, and medical illness management. I provide therapy for the individual, family, siblings, and parent/caregiver.

I also provide parent coaching, school consultations, and support on individual education planning. My clients range in age from infants to adults. In the area of Neurodevelopmental Disorders, I am certified in DIR® & DIRFloortime® Expert level through the Interdisciplinary Council on Development and Learning (ICDL) and I have completed requirements toward certification in Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health through the California Center for Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health.
